EKG certification
In my senior year of High school, I was accepted into the electrocardiogram Technician certification. To apply we needed teacher's recommendation letters, write an essay on why we should be admitted, submit a resume, as well as went through the interview process. 12 other students and I other students were accepted and completed the course. We began the class during the second semester of school and would stay two days out of the week till 6 pm. We had about 5 months to prepare to take the certification exam. This course was extremely fast passed and required a lot of academic responsibility. This class taught me the importance of not only studying but using your peers for help. Before this class, I would rarely ask for help but I had to remind myself that they are also trying to learn the information given so they may have also been struggling with the material. Without the help of my other classmates, I wouldn't have been as prepared as I was for the exam. This was a class that was extremely different than what I was used to so it taught me the importance of asking for help and using my resources.
Senior Project
As a student in the Synergi4 program, I was required to do a senior project. Being in the biomedical portion of Synergi, we had to come up with a new medical innovation to help solve any problem that may be happening in the world. We spent the entire year working on this project and needed to have a prototype as well as a PowerPoint ready to present to judges. I worked with a partner and we decided to innovate what we called The Nurse Robot". We wanted to follow the issue of wait times in emergency rooms so after much research we found that a way we could help was by removing all tedious tasks from nurse's hands. Our robot would take the vitals of patients waiting to be checked. This robot will also be able to take medication, paperwork, medical equipment, and anything that is needed from one place to another, so the nurses are not worried about doing it. Throughout the project, I learned the critical importance of effectively managing my time to meet deadlines with high-quality work. Juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities within a long-term project required careful planning, setting priorities, and setting a structured schedule. Additionally, the project allowed me to enhance my presentation skills significantly. As we moved through the different stages of the project, I had numerous opportunities to present my work to different people. These presentations demanded clear communication, concise delivery of information, and the ability to engage the audience effectively. Through practice and constructive feedback, I developed confidence in public speaking, improved my ability to articulate complex ideas, and refined my overall presentation style. The combination of time management and presentation skills gained from this year-long senior project has equipped me with invaluable abilities that will undoubtedly benefit me in future academic and professional endeavors

The Metamorphosis analytical project
For my Englih 4 class during high school i took dual credit then switched over to AP. In this class we would read different peices of work from different time periods and then complete some kind of analytical project. One of the project i am most proud of is the analysis on the book Metamorphosis. If you have ever read the metamorphosis you kow that it is an interesting book with multiple deep perspectives. For this project i worked with a partner and we had to analyze the four sections in the book and connect specific details to a final universal message. Working on this project taught me how everything written in books is placed in there for a specific reason, no matter how small. Akthough this was one of my favorite project that I made I think I could have done a better job at giving a depper analysis. My partner and I had a hard time connecting our 4 different point to one universal message, but overall we did do our best and im jhappy with the final product.
Chains and Charms
For my professional business and communicarions class we had an end of the year project where we were put into groups of 3-5 and had to come up with a business where we would end up selling a product to the kids at school. My group decided to make small crochete key chains. We had about a month to prepare to sell the product. In this time we created social media accounts to advertise, create our product, and caluclate the amount we need to make in order to have made a profit. Doing this project was a very unique experience because I had never had the task of running a real bussiness. Through this project i was able to learn the significance of of effective communication and team work. All my teammates had an assigned job and hadnt we communicated it would have made things extremely difficult for us. Looking back I think we should have picked a product that was more appealing to the group of people we were selling to (students). Had we have done this i believed we would have made more of a profit. This project has been the most unique and one of the most enjoyable of my high school career.
